1. Who can request deletion
Every SkoolPro account holder can request deletion of their own account and the personal data associated with it, regardless of their role:
- Parents and guardians
- Teachers
- Principals and school administrators
- Bus drivers
2. How to request deletion
To request deletion of your account and data, email us at support@skoolpro.pk:
- Send the email from the email address (or include the phone number) registered to your SkoolPro account, so we can verify you own the account.
- Use the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
- Include your full name, your role (parent / teacher / principal / driver), and the name of your school.
For your security, we can only act on requests where account ownership can be verified. If we cannot verify ownership from your message, we will reply with a simple verification step before proceeding.
3. What gets deleted
When your request is processed, we permanently delete the personal data associated with your account, including:
- Your name, phone number and email address
- Profile photos and any images you uploaded
- Your messages and communication history
- Attendance records linked to your personal account
- Location history (e.g. from bus tracking, where applicable)
- Your sign-in account and credentials
- Push-notification tokens and device identifiers
4. What may be retained
Academic records administered by your school (for example results, report cards and class registers) are controlled by the school as part of its official records. These may be retained by the school in line with its own policies — but they are de-linked from your deleted personal account and no longer connected to your identity within SkoolPro.
We may also retain minimal information where the law requires it (for example billing records), for only as long as legally necessary.
5. How long it takes
Deletion requests are processed within 30 days of verification. Once completed, your data cannot be recovered. We will confirm by email when your deletion is complete.
